Import Export Business opportunities for small companies

Friday, February 29th, 2008

The key to a successful Import / Export business is to buy in bulk at a low price and sell it at a profit. Many have gone the way of importing goods from countries where the production cost is low, thus resulting in cheaper products. In order to stay competitive, it only makes sense to import in very large quantities – something which the small to medium companies cannot afford to do. Then there is also the risk of over-stocking or out-dated products.

Those who import in large quantities will face this problem sooner or later. Either they end up with ex-stock they can’t get rid off, or they need to clear the space for the latest batch. Whatever the reason might be, bottom line is they need to get rid of their stock and are sometimes willing to release these at prices way below cost. This is a good opportunity to make a quick buck by buying in lots and selling them on Online Auction Sites like Ebay. The problem is to know when and where such opportunities arise.

While doing a search for such opportunities, I came across this site www.merchandizeliquidators.com. When major importers or distributors want to get rid of old stock, they look for Merchandise Liquidators. These guys by the stock in lots re-package and resell them back to anyone interested. Take note that while these might be out-dated products, most are as good as new and are going at Prices Below Cost! Selling them at a profit should not be a problem.

Their online store is well stocked with a wide range of products like designer clothes for men, women and even children, jewelry, cosmetics, lingerie, toys, shoes, furniture and even electronics going at wholesale prices. This is one site I will be keeping my eye on for the right bargain. To give you an idea of some of their deals, see below.
